Agartala, Nov 19 (TIWN): In a mysterious fire broke out, a huge number of vital documents were gutted at the office of Kathalia Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) under Jatrapur police station in the wee-hours of Tuesday night. According to the locals, with an attempt to conceal the alleged misappropriation of project funds in Kathalia CDPO office, some corrupt people might have set the office on fire.

The residents adjacent to the CDPO office after noticing the devastating fire in the wee-hours of last night rushed to the spot and informed to fire station, said police. After receiving the information, a fire-engine and a vast contingent of police rushed to the place of occurrence and quenched the fire, informed police.
