AGARTALA, May 28 (TIWN): JUMLA cheaters. Miss-Call Job Fraudsters now opted for Lie Detector machines to harrass Opposition voices.Tripura BJP Govt has announced to use ‘Lie Detector’ machines to find out the actual state of mind of the criminals before an investigating officer. Although, Supreme Court of India in past hearings said such types of machines uses are illegal in 2010, violation of fundamental rights and also it was pulled off for corruption and paid-probe exposer in country along with no country trusts on machines yet fully, Tripura Govt has announced to install it with a fresh recruitment policy.

However netizens immediately reacted on it demanding Lie Detection of the Politicians as they already fooled Tripura. Referring, CPI-M former Minister Badal Chowdhury, Ratanlal Nath said, “Badal Babu knows everything but he is lying and this machine will detect”.

Slamming the Govt, Netizens have asked the Govt to use this machine first for themselves and few advised him to keep it before him.

Tainted Politicians like Ratan Lal's past track record as a Congressman  well known in Tripura, not only that Ratan Lal's silence on multicrore PPE purchasing scam speaking volumes by itself.

Supreme Court’s previous verdict on it : In a landmark judgment the Madras High Court conveyed that investigating agency is required to complete investigation within a reasonable time, if not, the benefit of delay is given to the accused. If accused fails to co-operate with the investigation process undertaken during custodial interrogation, to unravel the mystery surrounding the crime, scientific investigation methods may have to be carried out to find the truth.

Keeping the same spirit in another judgment, the court had held that the narco-analysis test is a step in aid of investigation. It forms an important base for further investigation as it may lead to collection of further evidences. Therefore, with reference to the proliferation of crimes against society, it is necessary to keep in mind the necessity of the society at large and the need of a thorough and proper investigation as against individual rights while ensuring that constitutional rights are not infringed. Consequently, in the court's opinion, the narco-analysis test does not suffer from any constitutional infirmity as it is a step in aid of investigation and any self incriminatory statement, if made by the accused, cannot be used or relied upon by the prosecution. The court ordered the accused to undergo the narco-analysis test in stipulated period. These judgments were clearly supporting the use of DDTs in investigations.
