AGARTALA, May 25 (TIWN): 10323 teachers used postcards to former BJP Party President cum Chief Minister of state Biplab Deb reminding the promises he made on livelihood of the former teachers before 2018 Assembly Election. Amid lockdown the terminated teachers are adapting hundreds of attempts seeking attention from the Government on their pathetic condition.

On Monday morning the terminated teachers sent their message to Chief Minister via postcards in Postoffice Chowmuhni.
One of the teachers while talking to media said, "We are here to remind the Chief Minister about his promises which are yet to be fulfilled. We know that human memory power is weak enough to forget things in a while, so we will remind him again and again via different mediums to let him know about our pathetic condition from last two months."
The teacher further added," Since March 31 we aren't getting any salaries and no solution has been announced yet for our future till date. The fear of uncertainty is devouring us everyday."
However , Tripura Govt has appealed to the Supreme Court to appoint 10323 terminated teachers' remaining 8882 in non-teaching posts but due to Covid-19 outbreak, the petition has not been listed for hearing.
On the other side more than 50 teachers among 10323 have died under severe mental pressure till now.
