Eid preparations begins in Tripura with COVID-19 protocols

AGARTALA, May 24 (TIWN): Amid COVID-19 pandemic, the Muslim Community by maintaining social distances are doing basic rituals as the Eid onset.
SDM held a meeting ahead of Eid celebration, instruction how to deal with the situation.
Tripura’s famous mosque, that is the Gedu Mia mosque was cleaned, designed with minimum workers. Gathering was prohibited due to lockdown and COVID-19 pandemic.
Eid al-Fitr, also called the "Festival of Breaking the Fast", is a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of the month-long dawn-to-sunset fasting of Ramadan. This religious Eid is the only day in the month of Shawwal during which Muslims are not permitted to fast.
