AGARTALA, November 18 (TIWN): On it’s another drive the CPI (M) as expected, today staged a counter attack rally against the Congress Civil Disobedience Movement. Counter attacking the congress the CPI (M) on Tuesday slogged for a peaceful environment at the state, whereas the present environment of the state had already been decorated with a massive corruption and scams.

Showing a counter protest rally the CPI (M) today claimed that the Congress Civil Disobedience Movement on November 17 turned the city into a battle ground creating an unrest situation among the people. Therefore the CPI (M) cannot allow this, claimed CPI (M). But talking to TIWN today the CPI (M) state secretary Bijan Dhar said that the main objective of their rally organized today was to oppose the Tripura Bandh called by the opposition congress, and organizing rallies is a part of their ongoing party campaign. And most interestingly, the banner of today’s rally organized by the CPI (M) speaks other story.

It becomes crystal clear that the organizing such an unclear rally the CPI (M) is on a race to divert the mind of the people and to hush up the recent corruptions and scams in Tripura. . Beside when the ruling left front is already burdened with massive corruptions of the state, on the other it seems to have closed all the way now for the protestors even who came forward to protest the corruptions and scams. It is to be mentioned here that the ruling left front and the CPI (M) now a days remained much busy curtaining the recent Tripura corruptions and scams. Therefore the ruling left front’s and Manik’s clear water had already highlighted its deeds within. And this must be an intolerable for the common mass of the state now.

Earlier on Monday talking to TIWN, the CPI (M) state secretary Bijan Dhar said that the left front and the CPI (M) state committee opposed the Tripura Bandh called by the congress on November 20. Mr. Dhar claimed that the congress created preplanned disturbances at the state through their civil disobedience movement. He also said that the congress civil disobedience movement failed to impact Agartala. Therefore the movement has become flop.

However it is to be mention here that today the opposition leader Sudip Roy Barman condemning the barbaric incident of November 17 created by the police, said that the congress to lodge an FIR against the SDPO Rajendra Dutta. He alleged that under the instruction of Manik Sarkar SDPO of Sadar Rajandra Dutta directed the police and other security personnel to start the lathi charge on the congress supporters
