AGARTALA, May 19 (TIWN): PPE and other necessary testing items are thrown across the Badharghat school, erupted resentments. It happened after 3 trains arrived in Tripura with above 4000 passengers from Bengaluru and Chennai. Although, in Agartala Railway station, a total cleanliness drive was witnessed and workers were seen busy in cleaning trains, tracks, platforms but in case of the school where the passengers are taken for sample testing, till today afternoon, no cleaning was done. On yesterday total 2 trains arrived in Tripura. A Chennai-Agartala bound special Shramik train had arrived in Badharghat Railway Station with around 1,400 stranded migrant people. Another train also arrived after that from Bengaluru. After arriving of the first train SDM Ashim Saha said, “Everything was kept well-managed. Health staffs for thermal screening and light food for the passengers with water were managed".
The trains dropped Unokoti, Dhalai, North Tripura passengers in the Dharmanagar Railway Station and then left for Badharghat Railway Station in Agartala.
In both Railway stations, all medical guidelines were followed and everyone's thermal screening tests were done.
