AGARTALA, May 17 (TIWN): A special Shramik train has kicked from Jirania Railway Station to state Bihar with over thousands of people.

The people had been stranded in Tripura from a long time due to lockdown, finally left for state today.

Before leaving, their screenings were done and the items were checked randomly to ensure security inside the train.

On being asked, the goers have thanked the State Govt, although after a long wait of 2 months, they are returning.

A worker has prayed to the State Govt to help each stranded migrant worker to go back home, as it is very painful to live in other states amid lockdown situations.
