AGARTALA, May 12 (TIWN): 10323 Teachers termination issue biting back BJP's vision document's JUMLA promise of regularizing 10323 Teachers after 2018 Assembly Election win.After the massive protest at Education Office by 10323 teachers today raising question, what was written in the Supreme Court’s verdict along with protest against Govt given condition to the teachers to take CM announced Rs. 35,000 (one time) due to COVID-19, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath has claimed that no condition was imposed on any teacher to take the money. He also raised question, when everyone is talking about a “condition” given by State Govt but nobody is telling us, what is the so called “condition”. On Tuesday, terminated 10323 teachers’ group gheraoed the Education Office after Education Director UK Chakma allegedly denied to meet them.

The teachers said that they were given appointments before 7 days after they placed certain demands to the Director but today the Director simply denied to meet them, which has provoked massive protest in front of the Education Office. The gathering turned huge soon and also tussle between terminated women teachers and women police had been seen. 

Former teacher Bimal Saha said that after the Director denied to meet them, such situations erupted. “As per the Director’s promise, we have come to meet him but today he has simply denied to meet us. All we wanted to know, what the Supreme Court has exactly ordered to the Govt, but denying to meet us, Director has proven something was wrong on behalf of Govt by terminating us”, said terminated teacher Bimal Saha.

However, Tripura Govt has appealed to the Supreme Court to appoint 10323's remaining 8882 teachers in non-teaching posts but due to COVID19 outbreak, the petition has not yet been listed for hearing. 

On May-7, Terminated 10323 teachers have alleged that they did not receive Chief Minister Biplab Deb announced Rs. 35,000. The teachers said, in case of taking the money, teachers have to commit on paper but what was that commitment have not been announced by the teachers. They said, that commitment was sought by Education Dept.The teachers said, they never sought any such amount but it was State Govt which had announced that. They further claimed that their jobs have not been gone according to law but a section of officials are misleading the verdict.Also the teachers to file a contempt petition against 4 officials in allegation of misleading the verdict from the beginning and to raise question, how  science graduate teachers jobs can exist in same recruitment when 10323 teachers are terminated ?

Today Minister Ratanlal Nath said, it takes time to get money for few due to technical reason, but there is no such condition applied on anyone to receive the amount.
