Belonia, Nov 17 (TIWN): Member of Parliament (MP)- Jitendra Chowdhury Monday reviewed the progress of implementation for MP funds and other development schemes under East Tripura Parliamentary Constituency by the at the South Tripura District community hall.

MLA Basudeb Majumder, MLA Sudhan Das, MLA Jasbir Tripura, MLA Pravat Choudhry and other senior administrative officials of South Tripura District including CMO of Belonia attended the review meeting. Besides, officials from PWD, Power and Agriculture departments were remained present in the meeting.

While addressing the meeting, Chowdhury urged all the concerned departments to create permanent assets and to update e-FMS process faster so that to get central allocated funds quickly. He also instructed the District Magistrate to take proper initiative to update the aadhar card process. He further expressed concern over the postal delay issue for the distribution of Aadhar cards.

According to the report, implementations for different development projects including construction of market sheds, community hall, school building, shed for patients, power transmission line, drinking water and roads are in progress under East Tripura Parliamentary Constituency.

After reviewing the development projects, Chowdhury instructed all the concerned officials to complete the ongoing works within scheduled time.
