AGARTALA,November 17 (TIWN): " Violence against women is now being conducted in the state in a festive like environment. Interestingly the Chief Minister( Home Minister as well) Manik Sarkar remains silent in such sensitive issues. Sometimes under pressure from the opposition Manik Sarkar reacts but that too in political programme. As an administrator he is a complete failure. Police administration is compelled to work as instructed by the ruling party leaders. As such Manik Satkar has lost his moral right to retain the Chair of the Chief Minister. But as he is not doing this so far Congress leaders and workers will organize Civil Disobedience Movement on 17th November standing the CMs resignation and also CBI probe in all organized corruptions discovered in different blocks and departments", said PCC Executive President Asish Kumar Saha while speaking to TIWN over phone on Sunday afternoon.

Asish Saha said that it is now open to all how the crores of money allocated under various centrally sponsored funds have been looted by the corrupt officials ;surely under the patronage of CPI(M) leaders. And the so-called Honest Chief Minister Manik Sarkar is the mastermind behind all such scams.

1) Massive MGNREGA scam of Rs 50 crore in Bishalgarh R D Block under Manik Sarkar's most trusted official Bimal Chakrabortu

2) Rs 32 crore scam in Kailashahar under NRHM under CMO

3) Rs 40 crore scam in Horticulture Dept in Kumarghat

4) Rs 55 crore in Rulaichhari Block

5) Rs 1.27 crore in Udaipur Municipal Council and Rs 37 lakh in DWS, Udaipur

6) Rs 2 crore scam in PWD  Kamalpur

7) Rs 50 lakh in Agri Superintendent Office in Mohanpur

8) PMJSY scam on MataBari and Kakraban R D Block

9) Massive scam in Unakoti Dulari Dugdha Unnayan Scheme in ARDD under corrupt Director Dr Dharmeswar Das and former DM Abhishekh Chandra

10) Rs 5 crore scam in RMSA under School Education Department and SSA scam in almost all Sub Divisions

       Many more corruptions can easily find their place in the list. Anyone can guess how dangerous  the trend is.... Indeed, if impartial audit is being done by Central Audit Team the total number of money looted in Manik Sarkar's regime will exceed Rs 500 to 1000 crore . At this crucial juncture it is clear that when heavy weight leaders  are involved in such scams along with ruling party's favourite officials truth will not be revealed under this corrupt govt and the punishment to guilty officials is a day dream, said Saha.

Under this circumstances Congress leaders and workers will organize Civil Disobedience Movement on Monday. Asish Saha further said," Though it organized with leaders and workers of former West Tripura District but leaders from other subdivisions will also take part as a token participation. This is only the beginning. It will be a continuous process. In coming days such programmes will also be organized in all subdivisions and districts. We strongly demand the resignation of the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and CBI probe in all scams."
