AGARTALA, May 6 (TIWN): Chief Minister Biplab Deb has launched scheme, Web Portal for SMARTPHONES distributions among youths. In the first scheme total 14,608 youths likely to be benefited with SMART Phones who are undergraduate in State Colleges.
CM said, “As we promised in Vision Document, thus this scheme was launched but this should not be assumed as the last scheme. The process to be continued to benefit our youths”.
Undergraduate students may apply for SMART Phones, which will be verified and they will be benefited with Rs. 5,000 to buy SMART Phones.
CM has thanked the IT Dept for this web launching.
“Undergraduate students in 35 institutions of Tripura Govt will get this benefit. Among them, the highest amount that is Rs. 5000 to be benefited via online. That’s why the online portal was launched. Form fill up date is from today to 6th July. From May 15 to June 15 verification to be done and approval will be given 22nd May to 30th June and 1st July to 15th July all accounts to be benefited with the amounts”, CM told media.
The scheme is “Mukhyomontri Jogajog Jojona”.
nationalscholarshipportal@scholarships.govt.in is the name of the portal where the students may apply from today.
