AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): 10323 teachers’ group today told media that only few of them, with specific names were terminated by the Supreme Court of India, not everyone was terminated and thus Govt can not stop salaries of the teachers.

Placing a deputation to the Education Director U K Chakma, the teachers said that those who were terminated, got their notices form Supreme Court but maximum teachers did not get any notice. So, it can not be said that all the teachers lost their jobs.

The teachers further demanded their April month’s salaries and their pending case’s hearing in Supreme Court at the earliest.
