AGARTALA, May 4 (TIWN): Narcotics smuggler Ramu Saha has been arrested by East Agartala Police today evening. He was wanted in an NDPS case registered in East PS since 30th April, since police seized huge numbers of contraband items from his home and godown.

He is allegedly the drug mafia of Agartala deals with illegal Phensedyl and drug tablets, said a source.

On 30th April 41,472 drug tablets were seized from his Masjid Patti Godown. Police conducted search in his Shiv Nagar house and seized huge quantity of illegal storage of medicine. Drug controller registered separate case under Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

Today evening Police arrested him from Chandrapur area.
