AGARTALA, May 3 (TIWN): Amid less cases of COVID19 cases in Tripura, lockdown continues in disciplined mannered in state Tripura.Police have continued checking and securities remained tightened on Sunday.

Although Tripura recorded with 4 cases but in comparison to the whole nation, this state is still in a much better status than rest of the many states of India. Tripura’s two fresh cases are from Ambassa, Dhalai District where two BSF personnel tested positive from BSF 148 Bn on yesterday’s sample testing.

Completing 2.0 National Lockdown, along with whole nation, Tripura too step into 3.0 lockdown tomorrow. State Govt has taken full preparations for lockdown observance with the continuation of ease in business in allowed sectors. 

With 2644 new cases and 83 fatalities in the past 24 hours, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the country climbed to 39,980 on Sunday morning, the Union Health Ministry said.
