AGARTALA, May 2 (TIWN): Total 4270 people submitted Petitions to Return Tripura till now, who want to come back state amid lockdown. Addressing media Law Minister Ratanlal Nath said, in such cases, after pass issued, the passengers have to carry their own initiative. “Those who want to return state, although we suggest them to wait but if anyone loses patience to strand anymore, for them we will arrange pass but they will come by their own initiative. We will arrange the people to get passes, but the actual passes will be given by those State Govts, where they are now stranding. We will work as a mediatorâ€, said Minister Ratanlal Nath. He further said that total petition for Home Return are : 4,270. Out of them, 230 persons from Kota already got their passes.
From Agra a 48 people’s team started who are now in Assam. From Chennai, 76 people’s team is on the way. More 53 petitions are in process.However, out of 4,270 people, only 230 people got passes from Kota and few more from Chennai and Agra like states and Govt here said, it will work just as a “mediator” between the stranded people with the State Govt there.

Ratanlal Nath also accepted that more than thousand persons yet to get financial help from State Govt but it is under process. Total 6000 petitions were submitted for financial helps and 4347 were provided supports with Rs. 1.57 crores cost.
