AGARTALA, May 1 (TIWN): Increasing theft incidents in capital city Agartala has been continuously raised questions on Law and Order eve though CM Biplab Deb, Addl DGP Rajiv Singh, various Police officials dedicated works continuing in full pace. Hardly, there is any day that robber theft incidents are not reported in Agartala. Even temples are not spared from such night robberies. A house in Purbasa area, behind Nazrul Kalakshetra was looted in the absence of the family members who are stuck in Kolkata now.Talking to a police official, he said, the house owner named Kalidas Pal went to Kolkata before 1 and half month but due to lockdown he could not come back.The people who were in rent, left the home due to lockdown and the caretakers today only came to know about the incident. In total 2 rooms were looted. One belongs to the owner and another to a renter.

Even God idols are not safe in this deteriorating human society and crime rates are going up in the capital city Agartala. On, April 29, in a Shiv-Parvati Temple in Bhati Abhoynagar (Agartala) the theft incident took place. Items and cash from cash box were looted by the unknown thieves.

The incident took place around night 3 am. An old woman who was in the temple could hear a sound but when she was rushing to the spot, the thieves had gone. The old woman could not identify them due to her poor eyesight. Police lodged a complaints and started investigation. This incident has erupted massive resentment among the local people there.

Various shops were looted recently in this crisis period erupted massive resentment among the public. Lack of CCTV cameras have always a paradise for the thieves in the city.

SP CID, SP Cybercrime were not seen making any public statements over daily regular thefts and progress of those cases.
