AGARTALA, April 30 (TIWN): The Gomati District in Tripura have been put in high alerts after COVID19 suspicions sounded at there and 5 persons were sent in institutional quarantine.
It happened after Tamil Nadu driver was tested positive who visited Tripura on 27th April up to Udaipur to drop 5 persons via ambulance.
The Tamil Nadu driver’s sample was collected when he arrived and left on 28th April, but after he left, he was tested positive, led Health Dept to bring the people immediately in institutional quarantine. Although they were tested COVID19 Negative but kept in institutional quarantine, as it would be too early to decide the suspected persons’ status.
With this, tasks of Health Dept increased to find out the people who met these 5 persons were in Home Quarantine before they brought in Institutional Quarantine.
In Gomati District, the Administration has urged public to go out only in case of urgent necessaries and to maintain social distances,
