AGARTALA, April 30 (TIWN): In a media interaction, SP West Manik Das has said that lockdown is obeyed by maximum people and the section of people who have not maintained lockdown have been taken under action.

The SP also informed that many vehicles were brought under action during lockdown period and also people were arrested.

In COVID-free Tripura, securities have been beefed up since a Tamil Nadu man was tested positive. Before that also, Tripura police maintained strict lockdown led state to be COVID-Free but as alerts sounded freshly, so the securities have been tightened up by Police further.
