AGARTALA, April 28 (TIWN): Tripura Govt has been taking all measures to boost the sanitization process across State, introducing various modern equipment, machines. To ensure cleanliness Administration has prohibited spitting and open urination and mask wearing is now mandatory. Chief Minister Biplab Deb has said, “Wearing of face cover/ mask is compulsory in Govt PSUs, Offices as well as public places. Anyone found violating the norm will be fined ?100 for first offence & ?200 for subsequent offence. I urge everyone to wear a Mask and be safe”. SDM Agartala Ashim Saha has mentioned, administration to impose fine also for them who will be doing open spitting and urination. Chief Minister Biplab Deb has also called for an “All Party Meeting” on COVID pandemic tomorrow 4 pm.

Govt side, requested the Bazar committee members to take initiative to keep the areas gathering free.Various new types of mechanism are being used like moving van to take samples, screening, body sanitizing chamber etc are under functional.Police are also taking various steps like body sanitization chamber introduction etc in headquarters of police, TSR Bn and other places.

 Tripura Govt is giving no chance for COVID-Return in this COVID-Free state and so launched various measures to check the pandemic status everyday in the state, ensuring social distances in markets and other gathering-prone areas.

Today Agartala’s Market Committees, SDM, and Health employees jointly started massive drive in targeted markets for sample collection, screening, social distancing, cleanliness-maintenance etc.

Earlier, on 26th April, Chief Minister Biplab Deb had sought Bazar Committee’s help so that there is no need of much police force all the time asking the committees to take control.

Tripura Govt under SMART City project has launched the first ever spraying-disinfectants project in Tripura aimed to sanitize vehicles which are coming from outside, with chances of bringing virus with it. The project was initiated by Chief Minister Biplab Deb and handled by TIDCL, Smart City project under Urban Development led by Director Sailesh Yadav. On Monday, the sanitization process started in Budhjung Nagar area and vehicles came across it by sanitizing within a span of 10 seconds.

Recently, Chief Minister Biplab Deb visited Budhjung Nagar area and instructed about the launching with help of TIDCL and Urban Development Dept.
