AGARTALA, April 28 (TIWN): Although Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called for “Do Gaj Dur” Mission to ensure social distancing between people in the COVID19 lockdown, but on Monday, people in Agartala were seen on road with increasing numbers of vehicles.

However, State Govt has continued appeals for Social Distancing at any cost so that the disease does not come back in Tripura.

On the one side, amid industrial losses, Tripura Govt has given strict restriction to the violation of social distancing, even agriculture has started with social distancing, but a section of people, are eager to come out of homes with state’s status was announced as COVID-Free amid nationwide increase numbers of cases.

PM Modi has hinted that ‘out of danger’ is far from reality and people have to maintain social distancing but practically, violations are going on in many places. Tripura police are working hard to keep public in homes, carrying food grains on soldiers till deep ADC areas, spreading awareness and also engaged in tight duty.

The police force also contributed huge in the CM relief fund but at a point, public continue to show careless attitude to the lockdown. When a section are truly trying to come out of livelihood but a larger section are coming out just because they want to come out of home led a mess in the capital city Agartala today. Traffic police were seen on traffic posts whole day as the numbers of vehicles increased massively.

Tripura was announced as COVID Free on April 23rd and no new fresh case yet reported.
