AGARTALA, April 23 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has announced that around 500 houses have been affected in heavy storm.

“Approximately 500 houses have been affected. 5 relief camps (4 in Sepahijala & 1 in Khowai Dist) opened immediately, where about 550 people are staying. We are committed to help everyone in this crucial period when we are already fighting against COVID-19”, CM announced. In a tweet.

The Chief Minister, along with MP Pratima Bhowmik also visited flood affected areas today in different parts of the state.
