Loss facing farmers sought Govt compensation after rain hit cultivation

AGARTALA, April 20 (TIWN): Tripura farmers are undergoing heavy losses after last few days rains and storms had damaged their crops.
Vegetable fields are highest damaged, specially cauliflower cultivators are reported with massive losses.
Paddy fields were damaged in various parts of the state. TIWN visited Lankamura and few other places at the outskirst of Agartala, talked to the farmers.
In separate incidents people’s houses statewide was also damaged.
