AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 19 (TIWN): MP Pratima Bhowmik has visited isolation wards, which are set in Railways at Agartala Railway Station, as a part of nationwide COVID19 pandemic project.
Pratima Bhowmik talked to the appointed staffs at there, checked maintenance and hygiene issues.
Total 15 coaches have been used to make the isolation ward whereas in each coach 9 beds remain. All the beds have reportedly been prepared for any circumstances if erupts in future.
Earlier, after the coaches were set by Railway Ministry, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb said, “I thank Rail Minister of India Mr. Piyush Goyal for placing isolation/Quarantine Railway coaches at Agartala railway station as preparedness in national efforts against Covid-19. In case of extreme emergency these coaches equipped with latest medicine facilities will be used to save precious lives at different locations”.
