AGARTALA, April 15 (TIWN): As the areas which are not in hotspots may be relaxes after April 20, there is high possibility that in Tripura also, the relaxation will come in effect as no new case was reported here. Out of two positive cases, one person was already cured and another person who was asymptomatic is also recovering fast. Thus, in case of Tripura where only 2 cases have been found, can be relaxed if the cases do not increase.Again, in case of an increase in COVID19 positive cases after 20th April, the relaxation would be withdrawn. Appealing to the masses, Chief Minister Biplab Deb has asked them to strictly follow the lockdown, so that the relaxation can be gained. It came after in an address to nation, PM Modi on Tuesday had extended the lockdown period till May 3rd. India’s total active cases 10824, 1514 recovered and 420 died, 1 was migrated.Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath on Thursday has announced that half-done examinations’ copy-checking will be started by Agartala teachers soon and remaining Board examinations to be completed when lockdown will be ended.

However, in all cases, social distancing will be maintained and thus centre of copy checking will be increased at 15 numbers from existing 6 to 7 numbers.

Along with the whole nation, Lockdown 2.0 has been started here in Tripura too. On the second day also, tight security arrangements were witnessed statewide and police are in effort to keep people to ‘stay home’.

Except, necessary-reason goers, police did not allow anyone to pass the roads and in markets also with Access Control, the gathering-free trend was maintained. 

On yesterday, one out of 2 COVD19 patients released from hospital and sent in institutional quarantine.

At the same time, in a notification, Govt of India under Ministry of Home Affairs have mandated Face-Cover, prohibiting Spitting in Public Places in 2.0 Lockdown. The notification under COVID19 Management totally banned “liquor”, “gutka”, “tobacco”. Functions as Marriages, Funerals shall be regulated by District Magistrate. No organization, manager of public places should be allowing gathering of more than 5 persons. In Work-places, Manufacturing units also, the guidelines have been provided.
