AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 16 (TIWN): Tripura Education Minister Ratanlal Nath on Thursday has announced that half-done examinations’ copy-checking will be started by Agartala teachers soon and remaining Board examinations to be completed when lockdown will be ended. However, in all cases, social distancing will be maintained and thus centre of copy checking will be increased at 15 numbers from existing 6 to 7 numbers. Addressing media, Nath said, “Under TBSE, Madhyamik exam’s new course is fully done whereas old syllabus, Madrasa exams are not totally completed. In case of Higher Secondary (Class-12), half exams have been finished but half remained. We held a meeting on yesterday with TBSE and decided that the question-papers which are now under various custodies, will be brought in Agartala. By two/four days these papers will be brought and to be checked by Agartala located teachers amid lockdownâ€.
“Hopefully from 20th to 22nd April, the copy checking process can be started”, said Ratanlal Nath.

“But social distancing to be must. Earlier there were around 7 centres and now we will increase them into 15. If vehicle problems erupted, then we will ensure transport to the teachers via TRTC”, Nath told media.
“After lockdown, we will complete all the remaining exams. Also, we are keeping eyes on what other boards as CBSE are doing”, said Nath.
