KAILASAHAR, Nov. 14 (TIWN) : Police force is suffering from acute shortage of basic items, .One of the two vehicles are 15 years old. The rain water pours into chambers of OC and Duty Officer through the leakage of the roof. The quarters are hardly acceptable for any human to dwell in. The premise has no boundary. Still the officers and staffs are maintaining their duties in the crime-prone border areas. The higher-up officials and Govt. are so busy in deep slumber that, the plight is not seemed to be ended soon.

The Irani police station was upgraded from out post to Police Station eight months ago. DIG Punit Rastogi inaugurated the new building. The building was costed 41 lakhs of rupees and still its first floor not completed. JE Dibakar Das of RD was in charge of constructon of this building.

The quality of the work was of such a worst quality that the rain water easily poured into the chambers of OC and Duty Officer through the leakage in the roofs. The quarters provided for the Officers and other staffs are jn such a bad condition that none can dare to live there. But the staffs of the PS are bound to live. Moreover, the boundary of the police station is yet not completed. The higher up officials are well aware of the facts. But there is no ray of hope for the PS staffs about the end of their plight.
