‘Citizens Collective Against COVID-19’ provided essential commodities among 81 tribal families

AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, April 4 (TIWN): “Citizens Collective Against COVID-19” led by Tripura’s eminent lawyer Purushottom Roy Barman and others distributed essential supplies among the poor people.

The contribution programme has been continuing for a long time and this time total 81 families were provided essential commodities.

The Citizen's Collective Against Covid19 distributed Rice/Dal/Soyabin/Potato among 81 tribal families including : Munda, Bheel, Sautal, Uria, as due to COVID-19 led 21 days long national lockdown, these workers livelihood is halted and they don’t have proper food to survive.

The Citizen’s Collective is an apolitical group formed to fight COVID-19 in state jointly with the state.

TIWN Editor Saumen Sarkar donated Rs 20,000/-  in  Citizens Collective Against COVID 19 Fund and requesting public to come forward to join  Citizens Collective Against COVID 19 group to help poor, starving people in this time of pandemic.
