TIWN April 1, 2020
AGARTALA, April 1 (TIWN): TIWN Editor Saumen Sarkar lauded Chief Minister Biplab Deb's promise of one time payment of Rs 35000/- to each 10323 Teachers but reminded him BJP's pre-election promise of regularizing 10323 Teachers as they lost their Jobs. Biplab Deb's today's announcement brought temporary relief to 10323 teachers but many are skeptical when and whether they will receive the money actually or it will turn another JUMLA. TIWN Editor also requested CM Biplab Deb to release payment details data of all 40 Pulwama Matryr CRPF Jawans which he promised on Feb 15,2019 in a Press Meet that Tripura Govt would donate Rs 2 Lakhs to each Martyr Jawan family. Chief Minister's bold initiatives on helping 10323 Teachers hopefully will set an example for Tripura's opposition parties whcih are critical of Biplab Deb's promises vs. actions. Apart from 10323 Teachers issues, payment to Phulwama Terror victim CRPF Jawans, TIWN Editor also requested Biplab Deb to provide a status update on 2018's vision documents, most importantly 50000 Govt Jobs in first year.
CM's promises must be backed up by follow-up actions in a transparent manner to assure public confidence otherwise public may think of another JUMLA like 'Free Smart Phones for all Youths', 'Miss Call Jobs' to Unemployed youths etc.
TIWN Editor once again conveyed thanks to Chief Minister Biplab Deb, hopes that State Govt will release proofs of Rs 2 lakhs payments to Phulwama CRPF martyrs ( account deposit details), also documentary proof after depositing Rs 35000/- into Bank Accounts of each 10323 Teacher.
