AGARTALA, March 29 (TIWN): Amtali Police station officials have bought rice to the local poor from their own salaries. Among them West Bengal workers were mainly helped who are stuck in Tripura since lockdown.
Local daily workers told media that their little bit savings all are over and thus such types of help may keep them alive.
Police’s such humanitarian moves have been appreciated statewide.
Police are distributing food across the state in various places to fight the starvation of Corona-virus led lockdown in the country.
