AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, March 28 (TIWN): PAWSOME NGO is feeding over 200 street dogs in Agartala on daily basis as country is undergoing unprecedented lockdown due to sudden outbreak of COVID-19 which has claimed over 21,000 lives globally and caused 19 deaths in India affecting more than 800 people.
Due to lockdown people are restricted to come out of home and do business resulting shutdown of shops including hotels and restaurants.
If lockdown continued like this, street dogs will die by 21 days and seeing the seriousness of the situation, PAWSOME is trying to save the animals on road.
And PAWSOME members have also requested everyone to “Come forward to feed these strays in their locality so that they don’t die starving during the lockdown”.
