AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): No new post created for 10323 teachers' problem solution, but BJP Govt is aimed to fillup existing vacant posts and petition will be filed in Supreme Court in this regard. Education Minister Ratanlal Nath addressing media said that this was the only option left to the Cabinet which decided this for solving the problem of 10323 teachers and Govt is also thinking other ways but nothing will be disclosed now. When media asked, what will happen if Supreme Court denies to fillup vacant posts, Ratanlal Nath suggested journalists not to make things critical. He blamed 25 years CPI-M ruling which made people's minds critical in Tripura. Addressing media Ratanlal Nath said, "The present Govt of Tripura is very much concerned about 10323 teachers. Although their recruitment were under big question mark, but the Govt of Tripura never can deny their dedication and contribution to the Education Sector. A large number of teachers' families with around 50,000 people will be affected if terminated from 1/4/2019".

"Many of the teachers have qualification for other vacant posts. Appointing the teachers in various depts as per eligibility is the only option to deal with the present situation except appointing in technical Group-C and Group-D posts like Anganwadi Supervisor, Lower Div Clerck, Panchayat Secretary, Agri-Assistant, Store Keeper, Fishery Assistants, there are  10,661 posts vacant. IL petition to be filled in Supreme Court to permit Tripura Govt to appoint the teachers whose terminations will be on 31st March", Ratanlal Nath told media.
