AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, March 19 (TIWN): Congress senior leader Gopal Roy has asked BJP Govt to give the 10323 teachers a temporary appointment for at least 1 year and by that time, BJP Govt must find out the permanent solution, which the BJP had promised the teachers before election. Addressing media, Gopal Roy slammed BJP Govt for delaying the teachers issue for long 2 years. He said, “Ofcourse CPI-M had faults by not appointing those 51 petitioners when High Court gave the opportunity and also CPI-M could not solve the teachers problems before leaving power but it is also true that 10323 teachers and their family members including around 50,000 people have campaigned for the BJP with hope of their problem solution permanently"

"But it is now seen, whereas CPI-M had kicked the 10323, now BJP is playing with them. Now BJP by press meet said that within 31st March teachers problems will not be solved. Who is BJP Party to speak about Govt issue ? I demand to give at least a one year job to the 10323 teachers so that at least they don’t lose their jobs”, Nath said.

“Teachers are protesting because their bellies have been kicked. So, Govt must take immediate action to relief the 10323 teachers now”, he said.

10323 teachers on the other side has continued protest and said tomorrow they have Bidhansabha-Cholo Abhiyan, as the Assembly is going to be started.

According to Supreme Court's order, 10323 teachers to lose jobs by 31st March, 2020. On the other side, BJP Govt is bound to solve their problems as BJP promised the same before election.
