AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Leaders’ attitude and language and also actions prove whether its a Democratic or Doctor running a country / state. However, for Biplab Deb, from the very beginning along with his Law Minister Ratanlal Nath, the Govt is expert to arrest public, even unemployed youths, sending them legal notices for protesting democratically. Breaking all history, BJP Govt’s Police had beaten 10323 teachers, hospitalized and now Chief Minister Biplab Deb has announced to send teachers in jail for 1 year if gather amid Corona-virus alerts, whereas his Govt could not announce any alternative job for 10323 which it promised again and again. On the contrary, worse than this situation, protest erupted in Manik Sarkar’s regime. Previous Left Govt handled IPFT’s 11 days long road blockade maturely, whereas in such situations BJP Govt’s police would fire on them, proven in Madhav Bari violence incident on 8th January, 2019, where police not only conducted firing on the protestors but also later had beaten injured protestors by stopping ambulance.

BJP Govt everyday is proving itself a failed Govt, announced war against common men. On yesterday, police started random arrests of public just because they were  either gathered or making videos. A person came to Tax office with papers, was doing a video was arrested and soon more numbers of common men were arrested. Police announced, if any gathering happens then police will arrest them. Question is which state has been arresting common men due to gathering of Corona-Virus ? 10323 teachers have continued agitation demanding livelihood as just 13 days ahead of their termination, the BJP Govt could not find out any solution for them yet. Indeed, BJP Govt’s role remained just opposite of their pre-election roles.Teachers are slamming BJP without any fear after they remained silent for 2 years.

Although BJP before the election begged 10323 teachers support and did lots of drama in support of the teachers, taking 360 degree turn, Education Minister Ratanlal Nath said that with 10323 teachers issue, Tripura BJP-IPFT Govt has no link. He further threatened CPI-M leaders, previous Education Dept officers to take legal action for 10323 teachers recruitment irregularity. In front of City Centre, huge protest was staged today, later police arrested all the teachers. Many teachers are still injured, hospitalized after yesterday’s protest. Terminated 10323 teachers have demanded resignation of Chief Minister Biplab Deb who is also the Home Minister of Tripura after he sent huge force to arrest the agitating teachers sat in protest in democratic way.

When 10323 teachers protests have outbroken, political blame games have been started. Ruling party raising question, how to cross Supreme Court’s verdict, which is a very authentic question but the fact is, even after Court’s verdict back in 2017-18, BJP top leaders including Himanta Biswa Sarma continued to insist the 10323 teachers that a special bill to be introduced for them which will continue their jobs. From Delhi visit of the 10323 teachers to burning of papers all were done before media by 10323 teachers under support of the then opposition party BJP. But, the outcome of political JUMLAs have now rattled the teachers, who are tensed about their future lying on hospital beds after beaten by police during agitation.
