AGARTALA, March 17 (TIWN): Tripura’s 10323 Govt teachers, who are suffering due to existential crisis, holding day-night protest in Orient Chowmuhani demanding their livelihood are now in more complex situations as Tripura Govt has imposed 144 section in that area of protest due to Corona-Virus alerts. Earlier, 10323 teachers alleged that Tripura Govt is imposing Corona-Virus alerts to stop 10323 teachers’ protest and now media and public started raising question on the intention of the BJP Govt behind sudden restrictions in Tripura due to Corona-virus threats whereas when the situation was alert earlier also, no step was taken by Govt to control the situation. It can be noticed that 10323 teachers also to lose jobs on March 31st when till when the Corona-virus emergency line has been drawn. On yesterday, police asked 10323 teachers to withdraw protest and night-long negotiations continued.Media persons continued to cover the demonstration whole night as there were high chances that police may force the teachers to leave the spot.

Due to Corona-Virus outbreak, Tripura Govt on Monday has shutdown all schools, colleges further restricting all types of mass gathering, rallies and protests. Screening to be continued in terminals from Railways stations to Airport, Motorstands. Schoolwide today alerts were sounded, training was given to the students about "dos and don’ts". Addressing media, Ratanlal Nath said that people don’t have to be panicked but precautions are very important. 

However, the situation turned critical as Tripura BJP Govt is not announcing about the alternative job arrangements for the 10323 teachers which it promised before 2018 election to bag 10323 teachers and their family members’ votes for BJP.
