AGARTALA, March 16 (TIWN): Investigation is going in the right direction in Sidhai PS although one person is only arrested but police have imposed expected IPCs in this case.
In the horrifying rape, murder of 22 years old girl incident in Mohanpur, arrested Saurabh Pal was sent in Police remand for 7 days.
The case was registered in Sidhai Police with case no-25, Under Section 364, 302, 376B, 201, 34 IPC after on 12th March burnt dead body of a 22 years old girl was found in a village in Mohanpur.
Police sought 7 days police remand for him and judge also allowed 7 days remand for investigation.
Section 364 in The Indian Penal Code : 364. Kidnapping or abducting in order to murder.—Whoever kidnaps or abducts any person in order that such person may be murdered or may be so disposed of as to be put in danger of being murdered, shall be punished with 1[imprisonment for life] or rigorous imprisonment for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine. IPC 302 : According to section 302 of Indian penal code, Whoever commits murder shall be punished with death, or imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable to fine.
IPC 201 : Causing disappearance of evidence of offence, or giving false information to screen offender.
Section 34 IPC states the Acts done by several persons in furtherance of Common intention. The section explains that “When a criminal act is done by several persons in furtherance of the common intention of all, each of such persons shall be liable for that act in the same manner as if it were done by him alone."
