Bahujan Samajbadi Dal criticizes the role of state government

Agartala, Nov 12 (TIWN): Bahujan Samajbadi Dal (BSD) today criticized the role of state government over the various ongoing issues including atrocities on women, separate multi-crore scams and rape in Tripura. The women in the state are entirely unsafe, said joint secretary of BSD- Nakul Das in a press meet at Press Club, here today.

He further said, rape, gang-rape and murder post rape are alarmingly increased in Tripura but the police administration is not taking any stern action against the accused persons. The police department is completely failed to maintain law and order in the state, added Das.

According to the BSD, the state government is playing inactive role to fulfill the over 45000 vacant posts in various department. The state government is also maintaining silence over the creation of employment for 7 lakh unemployed youths in Tripura. No such commendable idea has been taken yet to extend the industry in the state.

The BSD delegation also alleged that the state government is providing shelter to the corrupted administrative officers and staffs instead of taking action and trying to conceal the different multi-crore scams. The cancellation of 10,323 jobs of PGTs, GTs and UGTs by the Tripura High Court gave impression that no job policy has been followed by the state government in the selection process, they added.

Besides, in the wake of various ongoing issues in Tripura, Bahujan Samajbadi Dal (BSD) would conduct street corners, house meetings, awareness rallies and other programmes with few demands, said Das.
