Tripura BJP leaders wrote letter to PM Modi to legalize Ganja

AGARTALA, March 12 (TIWN): A BJP leader in Tripura has written letter to Prime Minister Modi demanding legalization of cannabis (ganja) in state.
The BJP leader is Prasenjit Chakraborty who is also founder of Jagaran Mancha.
This news has turned as a blow for BJP as Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb had challenged the previous Leftist regime saying, he will clean Tripura from Ganja plants under ‘Nesha Mukt Tripura’ slogan.
Recently BJP Govt came under controversy after it gave license to earn revenue to over 200 liquor shops, erupted protests across state.
