AGARTALA, Feb 4 (TIWN): Each citizen would check the developments to his/her life under a particular Government before s/he would cast vote. The BJP which swept the Tripura Election 2018 with high majority started its journey from vandalizing of statues, attacking oppositions from the Day-1 on 3rd March, 2018. At the same time unbelievable attacks came on media, common men, opposition by the BJP which were started under BJP’s General Secretary Pratima Bhowmik under the support of Chief Minister Biplab Deb and other top leaders. That is how, BJP destroyed the expectation of the public, although the then State Observer Sunil Deodhar wanted to control the situation and in his few lectures he tried to tell the party workers, whether they want to do the same mistake which the previous ruling party at its end regime did ? But Deodhar could not continue in Tripura and left and then BJP introduced Election rigging, not allowing opposition to file nominations, on camera compelled the opposition to return from the nomination submission spot, which was unnecessary totally but successfully helped to generate mass resentment among the public against the ruling BJP.

At the same time, for personal luxury massive loots were done and unethical works like before becoming MP, Pratima Bhowmik did her ‘Ghar Jatra’ in an official residence which was totally illegal.

Then the real BJP kariyakartas were sidelined and allegation raised that oppositions’ dropouts are ruling the party. Amid all these, economy remained gloom added by luxuries of Ministers, MLAs and increasing unemployment.

BJP totally failed to fulfill Vision Document’s important promise as 50,000 Govt jobs in first one year along instead of regularization, mid-day-meal workers to many temporary workers were terminated.

Attacks on media and opposition including social media users crossed all the limits. At the same time, CM Biplab Deb’s gaffes and BJP leaders neck-deep in locally made corruptions fully demoralized the party.

Tripura’s unemployment rate increased 3 times and over thousand Govt schools are on verges of shutdown.

Free Medical services were scrapped from Govt hospitals and poor people died out of hunger even.

With all these, BJP’s performance remained just  in negative along with imposing highest ever taxes on public, infighting inside party led Minister’s sacking from cabinet.
