AGARTALA, Feb 27 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb on Wednesday while addressing in Agartala Book fair claimed that Tripura is now “Load-shedding Free State†which has erupted too much criticism as state’s many areas for weeks and months are undergoing load-shedding problems. Netizens have trolled Biplab Deb for his bizarre statement. Load-shedding which was reduced in Agartala’s main areas were actually done by the previous Govt, but the present Govt has increased taxes but services are not developed much. Also rural areas are under deep suffering. The real situations to be revealed once the summer season arrives.Question raised, whether the 24X7 free electricity at public taxes in VIP routes and CM, Ministers’ quarters led the CM to say this ?
He claimed, here in Tripura 24 hours uncut electricity remains without disruptions.“Tripura is such a wonderful state and people are so good but a negative mentality was created to destroy the temperament. Even the book fair was attempted to be destroyed”, claimed Deb amid major section of people not only oppose BJP, but public now hate the party.
Moreover, load-shedding is a major problem of the state and many areas are still in dark without electricity. Also the Govt has increased 5% tariff on electricity to generate more revenue.
After protests also, nothing was changed and now Govt moves to privatize the employment in the TSECL. He also claimed Tripura unemployment is only 4.5% now when national data says, it is 32.7%, highest in the country.

Tripura public resentments very high after BJP Govt’s massive failure in all fronts in past 2 yrs and public in no mood to hear false claims of ‘load shedding free state’, low unemployment whereas national data showing that Biplab Deb uttering blatant lies to fool public.
