AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Jan 19 (TIWN): BJP Govt’s politically fake case continues to harass citizens and the recent victim is none other than Yash Pal Singh, former Chief Secretary of Tripura. Tripura police is investigating 2008’s construction work case, amid no personal transaction of the accused person in the case could be cited yet.

Although Govt side lawyers demanded 10 days police remand, Court has given 4 days custody.

Singh was produced before the court after brought from UP today morning.

Singh has been an honest person and holding a spotless career but was dragged to Tripura after retirement in PWD construction work of 2008.

As the then Principal Secretary of PWD, Y.P.Singh just had used the power to take decision which he had as the officer but after 12 years of passage, when Govt changed BJP Govt’s political vendetta politics which is trying to put Deputy Opposition leader Badal Chowdhury in jail and to scrap his next election’s nomination filling chance is now turning heavy on former officers, although the officers are selective and many officers’ names dropped from the investigation.

Tripura former Chief Secretary Yash Pal Singh was arrested on Monday in connection with a fabricated multi-crore PWD scam from Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district in a joint operation by the police of the two states.
