AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Dec 17 (TIWN): Biplab Deb continues politically motivated attacks on honest bureaucrats, insulting Chief Secretary L.K. Gupta by demotions, then arresting ex-Chief Secretary Y.P.Singh, even honest opposition leaders like Badal Chowdhury against whom Police failed to submit any chargesheet even after 4 months. Not only honest ex-bureaucrat Sanjiv Bhatt, the former Indian Police Service officer from Gujarat who filed case in the Supreme Court of India against the then Chief Minister of the Government of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, concerning Modi's alleged role in the 2002 Gujarat riots is the victim of BJP’s political target, but across the nation similar incidents are happening and Tripura too it is not exceptional. Many officers were attacked politically in Tripura in lats 23 months of BJP rule and now it is one of the spotless career holder former Chief Secretary Y.P.Singh. His photo was taken from UP Ghaziabad Police station and sent to Tripura Govt and then was shared to media. No media filed a single corruption news against former Chief Secretary Yash Pal Singh but is now under BJP Govt’s enmity target, was arrested today from UP.

This was done although previously police failed to submit chargesheet in PWD case against the former Minister, former Chief Engineer and now former CS.

Singh is not the first former Chief Secretary to be attacked by BJP Govt but earlier, L K Gupta like honest officer, who was demoted from Chief Secretary post went in voluntary retirement.

Y P Singh turned Biplab Deb Govt’s target when he was appointed as the chairman of TPSC and allegedly he strictly denied any illegal work to do which will affect state’s youths future, said sources.

The case (Fake case)  against Y P Singh is based on the same case which was filed against former PWD Minister Badal Chowdhury, former Chief Engineer Sunil Bhowmik and police failed to submit any chargesheet against any of them. In this connection, same FIR drama has started as BJP Govt is unable to digest police’s failure to submit chargesheet in Badal Chowdhury case.

Tripura Chief Secretary Yash Pal Singh was arrested on Monday in connection with a fabricated multi-crore PWD scam from Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad district in a joint operation by the police of the two states led by Acting Tripura Director General of Police, Rajiv Singh, a dropped, tainted  former CBI cop.
