AGARTALA, Feb 12 (TIWN): Scrapping free services, increasing all facilities charges, taking 18% GST in maximum sectors, Tripura CM amid commodity prices claimed GST’s collection is high in Tripura and it is a big credit when Tripura is one of the states of higher GST collection.
In a poverty gripped state more than 7% GST is can be a “Shame” for the Central Govt specially when the state is Northeast and tops in unemployment.
Not only this, when people are everyday complaining that their income downed in last 21 months, CM claimed that per capita income increased.
However, Biplab Deb said that it was ex-President Pranab Mukharjee’s will that GST should be introduced in India but could not dare, but Modi did.
On the other side, Aam Aadmi Party leader, Delhi Dy CM Manish Sisodia’s biggest Statement in Post-Poll media interaction slapped Tax-Sipping BJP Govt. Specially in neglected states like Tripura which never gets national media limelights on its real issues and public suffering, BJP has continued tax-tortures, looting public and imposing high charges in each sector.
