Kailashahar : Theft by the Bangladeshi thieves increased in the border : Locale allege BSF inactive

KAILASAHAR, Nov 9 (TIWN) : The cattle-theft at the boreder adjacent areas like Samrurpar, Murticharra, Koroital, Kadumura has increased alarmingly. The situation has been worsened so much that the Bangladeshi thieves cross the border, enter the Indian main land by cutting the barbed wire fencing and takes away the cattle even in the broad day light.

The local people alleged that, to suppress their failure the BSF hides the cut-part with bamboo. The increase is all for the negligence of the BSF, as the locale people alleged. Local MLA Birajit Sinha demanded strong action from the part of the administration to protect the cattle of those peasant families. It is noteworthy that, 110 Bn Battalion BSF is now performing their duties in the border areas of Kailasahar.

It is also to be mentioned here that, after the completion of barbed-wire fencing, the locale hoped that, they should no more loss their cattle. But still they have to guard their cattle even during day time.
