AGARTALA, Feb 11 (TIWN): Several allegations are coming out against intoxicated drunk men and youths of Salbagan and Gandhigram area near Durgabari. According to the locals, it is difficult to roam in the area after eight (8) in the night due to the drunk perverts.

Where the Tripura CM Biplab Deb claims that Tripura has underwent a drastic change in terms of drugs and liquor, there this type of situation shows what’s the actual scene behind in the state. The people especially the women and girls find it unsafe to go out of their houses due to the drunk, intoxicated miscreants.

Allegations have been raised that the intoxicated youths stops every passer by whether on bike or walking and harasses them. Also allegations are raised that after 8n in the night the youths are involved in various illegal activities. The locals have complained the respective authority several timeas nut no action have been taken against them till date. From past few days they are continuously carrying out all these activities and harassing the people, but here too the name of “Lord Rama” saves them. The youths points out the connections with topmost position holders of the ruling BJP Party and hence are not punished but easily saves their back even after committing crimes.

The police of the respective area are too mute spectators, they do not take any actions on the matter. The drug traffickers are easily doing their business in the country sides, no one puts any question mark on their activities. Also the market conditions of these areas are worse, several allegations are raised by common man against the businessman for doing illegal business. But our “Accidental CM” remains mum.
