OLD AGARTALA, Feb 10 (TIWN): Huge quantity of brown sugar seized from Khayerpur, Old Agartala in a joint attempt of Assam Rifles 21 Bn and Khayerpur Police.

Police reportedly got an information via secret sources that in one Pranab Das’s hime, resident of Old Agartala, Khayerpur contraband items may be got including yaba, brown sugar.

Accordingly, raid was done by Police and Assam Rifles, Mandai, 21 Bn ,but after raids and searches nothing was found but only a widow woman was residing there.

Then in an abandoned place, the items were found. Most contraband items were brown sugar along with Indian currency of Rs. 37, 200. Police said that all the culprits will be caught soon.
