AGARTALA, Feb 9 (TIWN): CPI-M’s youth wings DYFI, TYF to hoist 10-days long protest against unemployment, CAA, privatization and other issues from February 10 to February 20.
Addressing media, DYFI Secretary Nabarun Deb said that with 8 points of demands DYFI has started a movement across India, whereas in case of Tripura DYFI and TYF jointly will hoist that protest but it will add local demands too at the District level.
Ahead of the protest which will be conducted from February 10 to February 20, today the inauguration held in Udaipur.
Deb said, on 10th February the programme will be held in Belonia (South Tripura Dist), on 13th February Kailashahar (Unakoti), 14th February Teliamura (Khowai), 15th Sonamura (Sepahijala), 18th Amarpur (Gomati District) and on 19th Agartala City centre.
Also in Sabroom, Korbook, Gandacherra protests will be held.
The protest is aimed at Anti-CAA movement and against privatization, sale of Govt companies.
Addressing media, TYF Secretary Amalendu Debbarma said, in the name of privatization all business centric policies to be formed, no reservation to be kept, already in Tripura outsourcing recruitments are going on. National properties sales etc all are destroying economy, increasing unemployment.
TYF, DYFI also demanded Rs. 5000 allowance nationally for the unemployed.
