AGARTALA, Jan 9 (TIWN): Tuesday it completed 90 days after Former Minister Badal Choudhury had been produced before the Court. Considering the date of arrest it has been more than 113 days. Also the case had been registered at the police station and sent to crime branch 8 days ago. Therefore, they got a total 112 days for investigation. The Crime Branch got enough time to keep the accused in the custody and investigate the case.

Still after so many days the police failed to produce any Chargesheet against Former Minister Badal Choudhury who had been alleged to be involved in 600 crore PWD scam. Investigating Officer Ajay Kumar Das is being investigating the matter. The Special Court ordered Choudhury to be present before the court on Tuesday, but as the High Court granted the bail petition if Choudhury, he need not had to be present before the court. The Court ordered to finish the investigation as soon as possible, but till date IO Ajay Kumar Das is unable to produce any chargesheet. 
According to the citizens of the state, Choudhury did not commit any crime, the leaders of the ruling party also knows the same. But just to satisfy political angst and retaliation, Choudhury has been harrased by the Police department on instructions of the ruling BJP party. 
Allegations came up on IO Ajay Das that he wanted to keep Choudhury in the custody for few more days, by producing a half chrgesheet. Probably this could satisfy his masters of the ruling party a little bit. But it could be known from our sources tht the public prosecutors did not agree to such decision taken by Investigating Officer Ajay Das, also they showed huge angst against him for not been able to produce any thing that could prove Choudhury to be guilty till date. The public prosecutors could be heard saying that the information and allegations gathered are not at all enough to prove Badal Choudhury to be guilty. 
But the Police failed to bring out any charges to prove Choudhury guilty after so many days till date. There is no prove that could show that Choudhury and his family got any kind of help or gave amount to any organization outside from the164 crore rupees. 
The BJP continuosly kept on harrasing innocent oppositionparty leaders, workers and supporters from the very date that they came into power.
