AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): A group of boys and girls who recently visited Agartala Railway Station area were harassed by locals and beaten a boy which allegedly caused his death today after he was suffering for few months due to extreme pain in head.

The incident took place before few months and he died today morning.

Being a boy of poor background Abhi Rishi Das, S/O-Nikhil Rishi Das could not continue his treatment in private hospitals as TMC, ILS.  Today morning his pain increased and brought to GB hospital and died.

The girl however alleged, the villagers did not beat him much but kept all the girls and boys a room locked.Later her cousin brother Samrat Rishi Das brought them home and he severely beaten Abhi which has caused his death followed by few months’ suffering.

Deceased father Nikhil Rabi Das alleged, both party of the village kept moneys from them to release Abhi on that day.

An FIR was lodged primarily in GB outpost. The deceased is a resident of Dukli.
