AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN):District Magistrates (DM) and Deputy Commissioners (DC) level meeting between India-Bangladesh held on Wednesday at Agartala state guest house to discuss the cross border issues. Issues like smuggling of contraband goods, human trafficking are some of the points that were discussed in the DM-DC level meeting of cluster 5 between India and Bangladesh.
Reportedly, a 33-member delegation team led by Comilla Deputy Commissioner Abul Fazal Mir, had arrived in Tripura through the Agartala-Akhaura border for addressing the meeting.
Three district magistrates (DMs) of Tripura including Khowai, Sepahijala and West Tripura district and administrative officials from four districts of Bangladesh along with border security forces also addressed the crucial meeting at state guest house.
