AGARTALA, Jan 24 (TIWN): Assam Rifles organised Know Your Army Mela at Thelakum Bari High School, Jampuijala, District Sepahijala on 24 Jan 2020. Mela was aimed at spreading the awareness about the Armed forces role in the various aspects of society and also motivating students and younger generation to join Army and AR by giving them an opportunity to serve the nation and providing a good professional career.

240 villagers including civilians, students, and locals attended the event which incl motivational lecture followed by weapon display and promotional videos on life in Army and Assam Rifles. The local youths were also apprised about the forthcoming recruitment drive of the Indian Army.
